Therapeutic Support for Adults
Do you find that, despite your greatest efforts, certain problematic patterns keep re-occurring in your life? Is anxiety or stress becoming a constant? Our first session will involve us getting to know each other. At first, I may ask a number of questions, to review parts of your life that you may not have thought much about. That helps us to formulate a psychotherapy approach that will be suitable for your needs. I am an actively engaged psychotherapist and I work relationally. In interpersonal, relational psychotherapy, we become partners, thinking together to solve problems and to understand interpersonal patterns that may arise. I also draw from other types of therapy, including cognitive behavioral and systemic techniques and theories. I may suggest that we try exercises, creative projects, or explore new approaches to problems, to bring some immediate relief to you. Alternatively, you may choose to talk things out and see where our work together can lead. Areas of Focus
