Climate Awareness

Grief, Loss,
|
Everyone goes through loss differently. As a psychotherapist I attend to where each person is at the moment.
As people discuss these issues and allow them into the social sphere, they are better able to make personal changes and to join others in making efforts towards a better, more equitable world. That leads to decreased feelings of isolation and to increased curiosity about what lies ahead and what can they can do--to what psychologists refer to as a greater sense of agency. |

I also believe that awareness of climate change goes beyond the consulting room.
Having spent years involved with environmental issues, I did psychological outreach with the Love for Puerto Rico mission just after Hurricane Maria in 2017.
