CBT-I
CBT-I is short-term type of psychotherapy to treat insomnia.
It is available in books and online programs.
Many also find it helpful see a trained therapist, individually or in a group.
What happens in this type of therapy?
Your therapist first talks with you, to help assess your challenges with sleeping.
You can then decide on some directions to take, so that you can change how you approach sleep. The objective is to help you fall asleep sooner upon going to bed. And to sleep consistently.
